1. Data Controller & Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Trendzza collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal and neighborhood data across our marketplace listings, community clubs, local events, and discussion platforms.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only data necessary for hyperlocal discovery, community safety, and account authentication:

  • Account Credentials: Name, email address, contact number, password hash, and resident/merchant role type.
  • Locality & Radius Data: Chosen city, neighborhood locality, and optional coordinates strictly used to calculate discovery distance (5 km, 15 km, 25 km, 50 km).
  • Marketplace Listings & Media: Product photos, item descriptions, prices, category tags, and merchant business details.
  • Financial Metadata: Razorpay order IDs, payment status, and subscription receipts for digital seller passes or club memberships.

3. Hyperlocal Location Privacy & Safety

NEIGHBORHOOD PRIVACY COMMITMENT: Trendzza never broadcasts real-time GPS tracking or exact residential street addresses to the public. All marketplace and community views show neighborhood-level or sector-level approximations to preserve resident safety.

4. Payment Security & Gateway Compliance

All payment transactions (Seller Passes, Spotlight bumps, Club subscriptions) are executed through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified gateways (Razorpay) over TLS 1.3 encrypted connections. Trendzza never stores raw card numbers, CVVs, or bank PINs on local servers.

5. Data Retention & Your Rights

You retain complete rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023) and Information Technology Act 2000 to access, rectify, or request deletion of your account, listings, or community contributions by contacting our grievance officer at grievance@trendzza.in.
