Refund, Cancellation & Digital Goods Policy

Effective Date: August 2026 · Anti-Chargeback Rules, Digital Goods Irrevocability & Recruiter Refunds.

1. Scope & Immediate Digital Delivery

This policy governs all financial transactions across Trendzza, including Student AutoPay Subscriptions (₹299/mo), Storefront Digital Downloads (WordPress themes, plugins, software scripts), and Recruiter Talent Contact Unlocks.

2. Student Subscriptions & Immediate Access Waiver

DIGITAL SERVICE DELIVERED IMMEDIATELY: Upon subscribing to a student tier or monthly workspace plan, access to proprietary coursework, task submission engines, and score calculation services is granted immediately.
  • No Retrospective Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable once access to the current month's learning workspace or task engine has been rendered.
  • Cancellation Right: You may cancel your subscription auto-renewal at any time via your account settings. Cancellation stops future recurring charges while retaining workspace access through the end of the current paid billing cycle.

3. Store Digital Goods Irrevocability & Non-Refundable Nature

Due to the non-returnable digital nature of downloadable software, WordPress themes, plugins, source code zip packages, and marketing blueprints:

  • All Digital Product Sales Are Final: Once a digital product has been purchased and access/download links generated, transactions are strictly non-refundable.
  • Defective File Replacement: If a downloaded file is corrupted or technically defective, the user must notify support within 7 days of purchase. Our technical team will inspect and replace the file. If replacement is technically impossible, a store wallet credit or refund will be issued.

4. Recruiter Contact Unlocks & System Anti-Ghosting Refunds

Recruiter talent profile unlocks grant direct access to verified candidate email and phone contact details. Candidate availability, job acceptance, or interview performance is subject to individual candidate discretion.

  • System Anti-Ghosting Automated Refunds: If a recruiter unlocks candidate details and reaches out, but the candidate fails to respond within the system window or candidate contact data is invalid, an automated ghosting refund is triggered by our background system.
  • Wallet Refund Credit: Approved ghosting penalty refunds are credited directly into the recruiter's wallet balance for future talent unlocks. Subjective recruiter dissatisfaction with a candidate's interview performance does not qualify for refunds.

5. Duplicate Charges & Razorpay Gateway Refunds

In cases of proven technical errors, duplicate gateway charges, or unauthorized transactions:

  • Claim requests must be submitted to support within 7 calendar days of the transaction date with transaction reference IDs.
  • Verified gateway refunds are processed via Razorpay back to the original payment source (credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI).
  • Refund processing timelines are governed by banking standards and typically reflect in your account within 5 to 7 business days.

6. Prohibition of Fraudulent Chargebacks

Filing fraudulent bank chargebacks after consuming digital products, using candidate unlocks, or completing coursework constitutes breach of contract. Trendzza reserves the right to immediately terminate the account, forfeit remaining wallet balances, and report fraudulent chargebacks to financial authorities and credit reporting registries.
